More than 25 New Orleans IABC members and guest gathered on a hot, muggy Crescent City day at ZEA restaurant on State Street to listen to Ed Lallo, photographer and owener of The Corporate Journalism Group, present “Photographing for the Web, Visuals Drive the Story.”
Between bites of herb roasted chicken, the audience learned of the Lallo’s journalistic style photographic skills. Coming from a newspaper background, Lallo worked as a photographer for People Magazine for more than 10-years, as well as other editorial clients. During that time period he transitioned into corporate work, shooting for a number of Fortune 500 clients that include IBM, ExxonMobil, Berkshire Hathaway, and DuPont.
In his presentation, Lallo served up the main entree, the online newsrooms that The Corporate Journalism Group, operates for Imperial Sugar and the Louisiana Seafood Board, and how photographing for the web has changed the name of the game for communications departments in the use of the visual communicator.
The overflow crowd served up question after question, as the dessert for the presentation.
“This is one of the most informed group of communicators I have spoke to on the topic of “Photographing for the Web” and “Online Newsrooms” said Lallo.
